I understand the use of cookies in a browser to track a user online, whether it be through <IFRAME> or via <IMG> tags. If I use a browser that fights this kind of tracking (e.g., Brave), then would need to resort to IP tricks.

I understand how geo-IP can track from where people are connecting. Even without geo-IP, one can do some tricks based just on an IP address to get information about visitors (e.g., AS info).

One could resort to a (e.g., NordVPN) to hide a source IP.
