I’ve been on The Internet since 1994. I agree with Kyle Chayka’s sentiment in “Why the Internet isn’t fun anymore.”
Since his 2023 essay I’ve realized that it’s not just #SocialMedia, but most #Internet endeavors. #SmartHome devices reduce functionality but keep cameras/microphones on. #Windows pesters users about #AI tools. #Ads are everywhere. #SearchEngine results are worse. The money grab makes everything & everyone less fun.
