I am at a #career crossroads. I have two paths:
1. I always apply for #funding, but can choose my work, and can #publish my #research publicly. It’s risky because I might not find sufficient funding.
2. I have ample funding but research is restricted to what the organization wants at the moment. #Publishing is secondary and may not be possible.
I suspect I’m not the only #PhD facing decisions like this. Any thoughts/suggestions?
