I have a potentially #controversial #Mastodon question that I’ve been wondering about for a while. It’s about the generic home #timeline #feed and its simple #algorithm.
For those who do not use tools to curate their home timeline, I understand that my post shows up in their timeline based on its datetime. If I post something and then #boost a bunch of additional posts, am I burying my “real” post?
