#Mastodon #Fediverse is my favorite #SocialNetwork, but, as a #WebScience and #SocialMedia researcher, I have to explore other networks. Today I tried #Nostr.
The requirement to create my own public-private #keys initially turned me off, but as someone who works with #cryptography, I get it. I installed the #iOS client and created a new account. To fully use the web client, I had to install a #browser extension.
This seems like a bit much for most. Who is the target audience for Nostr?
